RSPB BIG GARDEN BIRDWATCH

Date: 29th Dec 2021 @ 7:32pm

Join the birdwatch!

It’s easy to do Big Garden Birdwatch. Simply choose an hour between 28 and 30 January and count the birds that you see land in your garden, local park or from your balcony. Then tell us what you saw on our school blog.

We will also be bird spotting in school.

Every year the RSPB conduct a national bird watch where they ask people from all over the country to spend time looking out for birds in their local area. Seeing as many of us are at home this year, it would be a perfect opportunity to join in! You can choose any hour between 28 and 30 January. So whether you’re an early bird or a night owl, you can still take part. Count the birds you see in your garden or from your balcony.

There is an identification chart of common winter birds to help you. You will find this in the files.
