The National Eucharistic Congress 2018

Eucharistic Congresses are gatherings of all the faithful – clergy, religious and laity – which promote an awareness of the central place of the Eucharist in the life and mission of the Church. The last International Eucharistic Congress in England was held in 1908. The Congress in 2018 will be the first National Congress ever to be held in England and Wales.

Family celebration

There are many ways in which you can celebrate the unique wonder of the Eucharist as a family:

  • attend Little Church
  • bake bread together and share the story of breaking bread
  • speak to your parish priest after mass and ask him to show your children the tabernacle, where the consecrated host is kept
  • click on some of the craft images below to link to Eucharistic crafts
