How did the Industrial Revolution change St. Helens?

We are currently thinking back in time to the industrial revolution period. We have looked at a time line and tried to order photos- looking for clues. We have observed changes in maps of St. Helens over time.

We will be researching how coal mines and transport changed in St.Helens. And how famous companies like Beechams and Pilkingtons changed St.Helens.
