Summer Term 2- HI :)

Date: 1st Jun 2020 @ 12:06pm

Good afternoon Year 3!

I hope that you have all had a wonderful break but are staying safe. What have you all been up to?

Don't forget to keep writing on here to tell me what work you have been up to. Just for now use your first name so I know who I am talking to! Check our home learning tab to find my weekly overview. And click on the subject tabs (eg. Maths, English...) for website ideas. There is SOOOOOO much that you could be doing! :)

I can't believe we lost our TTRockstars Battle, it was so close. Look out for the next one starting.

Most of all help your parents as much as you can doing little jobs like getting up and ready in the morning and sorting your own healthy breakfast and doing as you are asked.

Missing you all lots cheeky

Hi Molly!
You are doing super, it is tricky with lots of people sharing. If you need anything printing off, let me know!!
I am ok thank you, missing your smiley faces. Hot tub sounds fabulous, I'm a bit jealous.
Well done for working hard. The classroom secrets home learning books are very good, that's what I've done in school today! I love that we are winning on Oddizzi.
The game sounds interesting, what is it called? Just remember to stay safe online and not tell anyone anything personal about you.

Hi Miss Pratt,

Hope you had a lovely half term and a lovely relaxing rest.

Missing you lots and our lovely class.

I had a chilled half term. We got another new paddling pool as the other one got popped! It has 4 blow up seats and 2 cup holders. It is really cool!
I had a mini disco and a pamper night, I had a panda face mask and cucumbers on my eyes. We did our nails and soaked our feet.
We had a glow in the dark disco where Mum put glow sticks on our body it was really funny.
I can't believe that Year 2 won the battle!! It was so close.
I have been doing quizzes for the family too which is really good.

I am taking part in a virtual dance competition and have to learn a dance from a video it is Musical Theatre, I feel nervous but hope I do well, I am not sure on the date but I will let you know.
I am really missing everyone. Hope that you are all safe and take care. xxxxxxx

Hi Isabella.
I had a nice half term thank you but I have been working hard too. I am missing everyone soooooo much, these messages make my day!
Whoops about the paddling pool but the new one sounds awesome.
Ooooh the pamper night sounds delightful, I can't wait to see Becky and get my nails done. Love the sound of the panda mask, I might need some cucumber for my eyes too. I have hundreds of glow sticks, I will have to try attaching them to t-shirts!!
The virtual dance competition sounds exciting, can anyone join in?
Big hugs x x

Isabella wrote:

Hi Miss Pratt,

Miss you. Not everyone can join in, you have to sign up its for the UKDCC Virtual competition. I have not had the video sent yet for my dance.
I have set myself a challenge this week to do some extreme reading, I have already read in the car boot but it was not moving hahaha and I have read on the windowsill curled up like a cat with a blanket. Everyday I am going to find a different place.
Hope you are staying safe.
Miss you.

PS.You are one of my best teachers ever! xxxxx

Miss Pratt wrote:

Hi Miss Pratt! Hope you had a great school holiday. I have been playing on my water slide with my sister and have been on lots of walks and I have enjoyed going on bike rides with my dad. I fell off my slide last week and had to go to hospital which wasn't good and me and my mum had to wear masks and I was shaking but I am ok now. I like doing maths on my maths and me and my mum are learning Spanish! Como estas miss Pratt? Miss you all from Matthew

Miss Pratt wrote:

Awwww Matthew, it's lovely to hear from you! It has been a long three months of not seeing you all. It sounds like you have been having lots of fun though, I love a good walk. Where have you been?
Oh no!! I hope nothing was seriously hurt? Oooooh I love that you are continuing with your Spanish. Muy bien, gracias. ?Qué te gusta hacer?
Take care and stay safe x x

Happy Monday Year 3!
How has your weekend been? I had a picnic in the park on Sunday, lots of yummy food. Did anyone see the lightning on Saturday evening? It was AMAZING! I'm a little bit scared of thunder but the lightning is beautiful.
Back to work now, it is very important to try to do a bit of reading, writing and maths each day! If you need any help, ask your grown up to phone or email. And any work that you do, please send me a photo so I can see :) xx

Isabella wrote:

Hi Miss Pratt,

We had a picnic on Sunday too, it was delicious. My aunty left us a doorstep parcel picnic as a treat for us. She even put lots of cakes in it.
Yes the lightening was incredible it reminded me of a million trillion sparkling diamonds as it was so bright.
xxxx

Miss Pratt wrote:

How lucky are you having such a lovely aunt! I didn't have any cakes so I'm very jealous now.
That is such a beautiful description of the lightning. It was like a whole light show x x

I have done lots of walking this weekend. Yesterday I went up Pex Hill near Rainhill/Widnes, I had a look in the quarry and there were lots of people rock climbing. Today I had an early start and went to Formby beach, it definitely blew the cobwebs away. I also had a sneaky Starbucks- Frappachino yum yum. Let me know what you've been up to! x x

It's Sunday again! And we are now in July, WOW!!! I cannot believe how quickly time is flying. This time in a normal year we would be thinking about getting ready for Year 4. But don't forget I am still here if you need me, even over the summer you can pop on here and say hi!
I hope you all liked your little surprise, I still have a few to drop off so don't worry if you haven't received yours yet.
Have a great week, big hugs x x

Hi Miss Pratt! Thanks for the postcard you sent me! I really liked it! We've been baking a lot of different things. We made bread, cookies, croissants, and more! We are also getting a dog and I'm really excited! In 12 days, we're getting our golden retreiver! I have to take the dog for walks with my dad, and feed it, and still give our cat a little attention. Still missing everyone! Hope you have a nice week! Bye! x

Hi Year 3!
Your last Monday as Year 3 children... how exciting and sad. I hope your parents were all pleased with your reports because you have worked hard and deserved them.
This weekend I ventured out for the first time as it was my cousins birthday, we had a lovely meal and lots of laughs. Yesterday evening I went to Southport and had ice cream whilst watching the sun set.
Hope you all have a great week and work hard! x x
