I miss school and my friends.

Yes I got eggs and the Easter bunny did a hunt for me.

I have been busy in the garden and helping to water and look after the plants. I have helped mummy to plant some new flowers too. We are growing tomatoes and some lettuce.
We made the trampoline into a bed and watched the stars, shooting stars and the meteorites. It was so lovely and cosy.
I’ve been playing lots of games outside too. I love badminton.
I love the painting at school it is lovely,
We celebrated St George’s Day.
I’m helping lots at home too and being a really good listener.
We’ve had lots of BBQs and paddling pool fun, it is so much fun on the water slide!
Hope you are all ok
Stat safe. I use my pan and spoon to clap every Thursday.
I’ve been praying lots and keep asking Mummy to take me to church so that the virus will go away. We just stand at the cross outside and say a little prayer.
I cant wait to see all my friends and teachers again.

Wow! G it's so lovely to hear your news. You have been very busy. It's great to hear that you are enjoying lots of fun activities in your garden. I'm so happy that it's been sunny for everyone. Your plants should be growing beautifully. The sky at night seems so clear too no wonder you have seen so many amazing sights from your trampoline bed. Thursdays at 8pm are my favourite time of the week now, when I go out to clap and see all my neighbours. Thank you for your message and I hope we hear from some of your friends soon. All your teachers and teaching assistants are missing you too. We can't wait to see you and your friends back at school.

It is so lovely to hear from you and it sounds like you have been having so much fun during lockdown. It is so nice to hear about all of the fun you have been having in the garden the weather has been wonderful. We have had lots of barbecues just like you and Jack has been teaching me football skills and Isabel has been teaching me gymnastic skills. It is lovely to hear you have been banging with your pan and spoon to thank the fabulous NHS staff for all they are doing to help with the virus. We can’t wait to see you back in school when it is safe for everyone to return

I did 2 Easter egg hunts this year, one inside with a video link to my Granny and Grandad who read out clues, and one in the garden with a video link to my Nana and Grandad who shouted out "hot or colder" depending if I was close to a hidden egg. It was lots of fun and nice to involve my grandparents, plus I got 2 prizes at the end. I also read the Easter story with my mum and we made some Easter crafts.
I have also painted a rainbow for our window to support our carers and have been out to clap every Thursday, sometimes with bubbles.
We have also planted some seeds (sweetcorn, green beans, carrots, beetroot and lettuce) which are growing well with a bit of water all the sunshine and have done other themed activities for St Georges Day and Earth Day. We have also been looking at the stars and satellites and watching the changing shape of the moon when the skies have been clear (but only if I'm allowed to stay up late).
I am missing school and my friends but keeping busy with bits of school work, baking, crafts and play. My mum says thank you for all the work you have put on the school website! Hope to see you soon. Robert xx

Brilliant news R. You sound like you are having lots of fun learning at home. It's lovely to hear that you have made a rainbow and that you also go out to clap the key workers with your family. It sounds like you are doing lots of super science growing seeds and learning about how they grow. Can you keep a weekly record to show how tall your beans grow and draw pictures to make a bean diary? We are missing you but looking forward to seeing you and and all your friends when we go back to school.

Hi Mrs Andrew,
My favourite chocolate egg was a Cadbury’s Creme egg one. I got lots of sticker books and some colouring books from the Easter bunny too.
On Monday afternoon we went for a walk and found a field behind the Griffin. Me and my little brother had a run around the field. The weather was warm, but then it was cold in the shade.

The weather has been so nice that running around a field sounds like a great idea and good exercise too.
I can't wait to get back to school and see you all again.Stay safe .
