Home celebration and prayer: the Rosary

May: Honouring Mary, Mother of Jesus    

As we enter the month of May, we look forward to a special time in the Church’s year when we remember and honour Mary, the Mother of Jesus. Throughout this month, the children will be learning about Mary’s faith, love, and trust in God, and we will take time to reflect on her example in our daily lives.

We are also delighted to introduce our travelling Rosary prayer bag. This will be sent home with different children during the month. The bag will include a Rosary, along with child-friendly resources such as pictures of Mary, colouring activities, and the “The Rosary for Children” book. We encourage you to spend some quiet time together as a family, using these resources to pray and reflect.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to deepen their understanding of prayer and to share a special moment of faith with you at home. We hope you enjoy this time together.
